The calculators

Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your web browser. The numbers you enter — system sizes, bills, usage — are not sent to us, not stored, and not shared. There are no accounts, no sign-ups and no tracking of your calculator inputs. Close the tab and they’re gone with it.

Email

If you email us (for example to be notified when the quote service launches), we’ll use your address only for that purpose and reply. We don’t sell or share email addresses, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Advertising cookies

This site is preparing to show advertising through Google AdSense. When active, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can manage or opt out of personalised advertising via Google’s Ads Settings and your browser’s cookie controls. The calculators work identically whether or not you accept advertising cookies.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting aggregate statistics (pages visited, roughly how many people) to decide which calculators to improve. We don’t build profiles of individual visitors.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what data we hold about you (in practice: only emails you’ve sent us), ask for its deletion, and complain to the ICO if we get it wrong. Contact: hello@uksolarcost.co.uk.
