Our installer quote-matching service is launching soon. Here’s the honest position, and how to be first in line when it opens.
Where things stand: we’re finalising agreements with MCS-certified installers so we can offer genuinely comparable quotes. We won’t take your details for a service that doesn’t exist yet, and we’ll never sell your data to cold-callers.

While you wait: arrive quote-ready
The best protection against a bad quote is knowing your numbers first. Five minutes with these tools and you’ll spot an inflated price instantly:
- Solar cost calculator — your expected installed price range.
- Panels needed — the right system size for your usage, so you’re not sold an oversized one.
- Payback calculator — run any quote through it before signing.
- Grant checker — grants (BUS for heat pumps, ECO4 to 31 Dec 2026) are claimed via installers; know yours first.
What good looks like when quotes arrive
Every quote we’ll help you request will be from an MCS-certified installer (required for SEG payments and Boiler Upgrade Scheme grants), itemised, and comparable against the calculators on this site. If a price lands far outside the ranges here, you’ll know to ask why — and “why” is the most valuable question in any home-improvement purchase.
